Reviewing the 2017 Babolat Propulse Fury Men’s Tennis Shoe

Reviewing the 2017 Babolat Propulse Fury Men’s Tennis Shoe

Stack with numerous upgrades to its predecessor, the 2017 Babolat Propulse Fury may just be the best and most durable shoe ever created by the French tennis company.

To start, players with a wider foot will immediately see a difference between the 2017 Propulse Fury and the 2016 model. Providing a glove like fit that baseline players will appreciate, the Propulse Fury includes a 360 degree in-sock that features unparalleled comfort and support throughout the entire shoe. Containing the same great setup that Babolat is known for in their shoes like a non-marking MICHELIN sole, the Propulse Fury responded well to both clay and hard courts, while holding up great in high wear zones like the heel, toe box and medial side of the foot.

The stability of the Propulse Fury was also top notch, as it provided secure comfort to both lateral and horizontal movements. Fitting true to size, the Propulse Fury also featured great heel support, courtesy of the KOMPRESSOR technology. Breathability was also more than satisfactory in the Propulse Fury. The toe and dorsal portion of the foot received enough airflow because of the perforated mesh material.

From an aesthetic point of view, the Fluo Red colour-way was enhanced by the blue dye pattern on the side of the shoe. We were happy that Babolat made this aesthetic decision as their previous models lacked the trendy cosmetics that are seen by so many other manufactures.

All in all, the advanced junior, coach or recreational player that is looking for a shoe that is ideal for practice and match situations should definitely give the Propulse Fury a try in 2017.
