Upgrade Your Off Court and Gym Look with the Nike Air Max 97 and Metcon DSX FlyKnit Trainer

Looking good off court and in the gym this Fall will be made easy in the Nike Air Max 97 and Nike DSX FlyKnit Trainer. Providing high-end, light-weight fabrics with functional performance and design, here’s our rundown of two favorite shoes that the world’s best players will be sporting this upcoming season.

Nike Air Max 97:

Released in an array of color-ways this year, the Air Max 97 has always been a favorite for the likes of Roger Federer and Grigor Dimitrov. Dating back to its inception in 1997, the 20th year of the Air Max 97 brings forth the same great specs that brought legendary status to the original silhouette. Highlighted by a full-length Max Air unit throughout the sole of the shoe, the AM 97 provides striking good-likes with the comfort and durability of the original.

Known as a collectors piece in the sneakerhead community, the lightweight nature of this shoe continues to rank it high in comfort and style. Other key features include synthetic leather and a foam midsole.

Nike Metcon DSX FlyKnit

Featured in a FlyKnit upper, the Metcon DSX FlyKnit is lighter and more flexible than its predecessor the Metcon 3. The Metcon DSX FlyKnit was also more than prepared to go the distance in any grueling workout that we put in its way. Using this shoe in a variety of different gym exercises, we were pleasantly surprised at how responsive and accurate this model performed.

From lifting weights to plyometric exercises and running on the treadmill, the Metcon DSX FlyKnit provided great support and stability throughout a one hour plus gym session. Highlighted by a low-to-the-ground feel, the Metcon DSX Flyknit also featured great traction for tennis specific agility drills.

Allowing for confidence during training, the shoes grip, flexible upper and durability in high-wear zones really did make the Metcon DSX FlyKnit a multi-purpose, no-nonsense gym shoe for the serious athlete.
