Global retailer debuts short film titled “LifeWear: Made for All” about quality clothing for all people and all situations
May 12th, 2021 (New York, New York) – Global apparel retailer UNIQLO launches new brand campaign, titled “LifeWear: Made for All,” featuring longstanding ambassadors and international social mission partners: tennis legend Roger Federer, renowned artist Futura (NYC), UNIQLO U Artistic Director Christophe Lemaire (Paris), UNIQLO Team Sweden’s table-tennis champ Anna-Carin Ahlquis and wrestler Alex Kessidis, UNIQLO Europe Director of Sustainability Maria Samoto Ledous, CNSAS Alpine Rescue Team (Milan), SAMU Social de Paris’ Partnerships Manager Anne Derycke, Street Soccer USA Founder & CEO Lawrence Cann (NYC) and Milan store employee Djiba Kourapuma.
The short film, led by UNIQLO’s President of Global Creative John Jay, focuses on the concept of LifeWear and how UNIQLO creates quality clothing for all people and all situations. LifeWear is the unique UNIQLO philosophy regarding clothes, rooted in the belief that rational and excellent design, plus the best in modern production techniques, creates perfect high-quality and affordable clothing that meets the needs of everyone’s daily lifestyles. This practical philosophy underscores how UNIQLO views the world, and LifeWear guides the company in everything it does – from creating thoughtful, life-improving clothing to its efforts around sustainability and community engagement.
