Friday’s action at the Rolex Paris Masters saw No. 7 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas and former World No. 3 Grigor Dimitrov reach the semifinals.
First up, Dimitrov continued his sensational season by ousting No. 11 seed Hubert Hurkacz. Needing three sets to advance, Dimitrov now has 40 wins on the season. The most he’s had since 2017.
Next up for the Bulgarian in the semifinals will be Greek star Tsitsipas. The 25-year-old dismissed former winner Karen Khachanov 6-3, 6-4 in one hour and 20 minutes.
Tsitsipas and Dimitrov have played on seven occasions, with Tsitsipas leading the pair’s head-to-head 6-1.
Still to come on Friday, No. 5 seed Andrey Rublev will face No. 13 seed Alex de Minaur. Earlier in the night session, top Novak Djokovic dismissed defending champion Holger Rune in three thrilling sets.
