Top seed Stefanos Tsitsipas captured the Next Gen ATP Finals in Milan, Italy on Saturday, defeating Alex de Minaur 2-4, 4-1, 4-3(3), 4-3(3). In a match that took one hour and 41 minutes to complete, Tsitsipas struck 10 aces, won 77 percent of his first serve points and broke serve on one occasion.
Closing out his breakout year in style, Tsitsipas collected $407,000 for his efforts.
De Minaur, who has has also had a tremendous season, will end 2018 ranked No. 31 in the world.
