Defending champion Viktor Troicki saved a match point en-route to the title in Sydney, Australia on Saturday. Defeating Grigor Dimitrov 2-6, 6-1, 7-6(7), Troicki saved a match point in the third set tiebreaker before prevailing. Winning 70 percent of his first serve points and striking nine aces, Troicki took home the third title of his career in two hours and 17 minutes.
Looking to win his fifth career title, Dimitrov defeated Alexandr Dolgopolov and Gilles Muller during the event before losing to the Serb.

Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut claimed the third title of his career on Saturday in Auckland, New Zealand when his opponent Jack Sock retired after trailing 6-1, 1-0. Sock had complained about flu type symptoms following his impressive win over David Ferrer in the semifinals.
Bautista Agut relied on his consistent and crafty game to win 93 percent of his first serve points and break serve on three occasions before Sock was forced to retire. Bautista Agut also defeated John Isner and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga earlier in the week.
