SAN DIEGO – (August 5, 2022) – Tickets for this September’s San Diego Open ATP 250 and October’s San Diego Open WTA 500 tournaments will go on sale at 8 a.m. (PDT) on Friday, August 12. Tickets will be available for purchase on the official San Diego Open website at https://barnessdopen.com/The San Diego Open ATP 250 will be played September 17-25, 2022 and the San Diego Open WTA 500 is scheduled for October 8-16, 2022. Both events will take place at Barnes Tennis Center, 4490 W Point Loma Blvd, San Diego, CA 92107.
Ticket prices range from $20 for each day of the ATP and WTA qualifying rounds to $350 / $400 for VIP seats with hospitality on the final weekends. The tournament venue for the ATP tournament and WTA event at Barnes Tennis Center will feature a 2,000-seat Stadium Court and a 500-seat stadium on Court 2.
“Last year’s inaugural San Diego Open ATP 250 had capacity crowds for the final four days of the event, so we encourage sports fans to make their ticket plans early,” said Tournament Director Ryan Redondo.
Grounds Passes will also be sold for all sessions Monday through Friday for the ATP and WTA events. The Grounds Passes will give spectators access to Court 2 and the San Diego Open Fan Village where fans can watch Stadium Court matches on a large screen.
Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase VIP hospitality tickets, with all-inclusive food and beverage. In addition, tickets for VIP seating with hospitality in the North Section of Stadium Court will be available for purchase.
“We have a wide-range of tickets and seating options available for the ATP 250 and WTA 500 events through our tournament website and we feel that ticket prices are very affordable for fans who want to come and watch world-class men’s and women’s professional tennis,” Redondo added.
The San Diego Open ATP 250 tournament will feature a 28-player singles main draw and a 16-team doubles draw. The event offers a total of $612,000 in prize money and tournament champions will receive 250 ATP ranking points.
Main draw matches will begin Monday, September 19. The tournament will conclude on Sunday, September 25 with the singles and doubles championships. There will also be a 16-player qualifying draw with qualifying rounds scheduled on Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18. Four qualifiers will advance to the main draw.
The San Diego Open WTA 500 tournament will offer $823,000 in prize money and will have a 32-player singles draw and a 16-team doubles draw. Qualifying rounds will be played Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9 with Main Draw matches starting Monday, October 10 and concluding with the singles and doubles final on Sunday, October 16.
