Sunday’s opening day action at the 2024 Rolex Monte Carlo Masters saw Jan-Lennard Struff, Borna Coric and Tallan Griekspoor all reach the second round.
Struff overcame a 1-6, 5-2 deficit against Sebastien Baez to advance in three sets, while Coric and Griekspoor both prevailed to the round of 32.
Italian star Lorenzo Musetti upset No. 13 seed Taylor Fritz 6-4, 6-4 to end the day’s proceedings.
The year’ first Masters 1000 event on clay will continue on Monday, featuring Grigor Dimitrov, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Felix Auger-Aliassime.
