Current world No. 10 Casper Ruud claimed his sixth career title and fifth of the season on Sunday in San Diego, California, dismissing unseeded Brit Cameron Norrie 6-0, 6-2.
Winning his first career title on hard-courts at the inaugural event, Ruud used his exquisite movement and baseline consistency to outlast yet another opponent. Defeating Andy Murray and Grigor Dimitrov earlier in the event, Ruud won 74 percent of his first serve points and broke serve on five occasions throughout the encounter.
Norrie, who has also had a great season, reached his fifth final after winning his maiden title in Los Cabos earlier this summer.
Norrie is currently ranked No. 26 in the world.

Top seed Jannik Sinner depended his Sofia Open title on Sunday in Sofia, Bulgaria, defeating No. 2 seed Gael Monfils 6-3, 6-4.
Needing a routine one hour and 18 minutes to seal his victory, Sinner struck two aces, won 93 percent of his first serve points and broke the Frenchman on two occasions.
Claiming his fourth career title and third of the season, Sinner is currently ranked No. 14 in the world.
Monfils, who was aiming to win his 11th career title, currently sits at No. 18 in the world rankings.
