Serena Williams, the holder of 23 Major titles announced today that she is 20 weeks pregnant. The American great has not competed on Tour since winning the Australian Open in January. (Her rep later confirmed that the future Hall of Fame Star will in fact give birth this autumn.)

Williams will return to the world No. 1 ranking on Monday, but will take the rest of the year off. She does intend on returning in 2018, according to her spokesperson Kelly Bush Novak. Williams is engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
