A challenging year of rock-star tennis is about to begin on the WTA. With the best ladies on the planet ready to start their journey at the Australian Open in Melbourne, Nike Tennis will also be along for the ride, outfitting their stars with the latest in the Spring 2014 collection.

No stranger to winning titles for a large majority of her career, Serena Williams begins her quest towards major No. 18 by donning the Spring Serena Australian Open Dress in red violet with black (pictured to the right). Always looking to push the boundaries of her game with her choice of apparel, Serena will look extra sharp in her latest ensemble, courtesy of slimming color-blocking and perforated materials on the back of the skirt.

The highest paid women’s athlete in the world returns to competition after a lengthy and frustrating absence. Former winner Maria Sharapova will be eager to fight for her fifth major when she debuts her signature Spring Maria OZ Open Premier Tunic Dress in glacier ice with black and matte silver. This unique piece features a printed and stylish compression short with an elastic waistband. Receiving a new shoe for this season, Sharapova will also debut the totally redesigned Vapor 9.5 in glacier ice, vivid blue and atomic orange.

What does Nike have planned for two-time defending champion Victoria Azarenka in Oz? The rhythmic, music loving champion will be outfitted in Spring Advantage Print Tank in red violet (pink) with bright magenta and matte Silver and the Spring Pleaded Woven Skort in red violet (pink) with matte silver.

Needing a shoe that accommodates her top-notch court-coverage, Azarenka will also unveil the all-new Lunar Ballistec in pink flash and grey.

Other Nike stars such as Li Na, Petra Kvitova, Sabine Lisicki, Sara Errani and Eugenie Bouchard will also be wearing the latest in Nike apparel and footwear for Spring 2014.
