Sense Arena Partners with University of South Florida Men’s and Women’s Tennis Programs

Tennis Europe Brings ATP Tour Sense Arena’s Groundbreaking Virtual Reality Platform to Junior Tennis Players Across 48 European Countries

TAMPA, Fla. and BASEL, Switzerland (October 12, 2023) – ATP Tour Sense Arena, the world leading cognitive virtual reality tennis training platform, has been named The Official Virtual Reality Training Tool of Tennis Europe, the non-profit organizing body of European junior tennis whose Junior Tour has seen the international playing debuts of stars including Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff, among others.

The partnership between Sense Arena and Tennis Europe – a Regional Association of the International Tennis Federation – underscores the two organizations’ overall commitment to developing the next generation of tennis stars, as the Tennis Europe community will now have exposure and education opportunities surrounding ATP Tour Sense Arena, a groundbreaking VR training platform which operates via the Meta Quest and provides players with enhanced visualization tools geared towards improving the mental aspects of the game such as focus, reaction, and anticipation skills to help players make better decisions and improve their confidence.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Sense Arena and provide our Tennis Europe community with access to their world-class platform,” said Tennis Europe Chief Executive Officer Thomas Hammerl. “This partnership will allow us to continue to shape the future of tennis for players all across Europe and give them opportunities to utilize next generation tools to take their game to the next level.”

As a part of the partnership, ATP Tour Sense Arena’s educational content and services will be featured on the Tennis Europe website and will also be included within the Tennis Europe newsletter for members to receive the most up-to-date information on ATP Tour Sense Arena’s technology and training advancements. In addition, Sense Arena will attend select Tennis Europe Junior Tour tournaments and Tennis Europe’s Annual General Meeting – the organization’s primary forum for its 48 member nations – to educate players, parents and coaches on the benefits of VR training.

“This partnership represents another milestone achievement for Sense Arena, as Tennis Europe has been at the forefront of growing the international game for young tennis players for nearly 50 years,” said Sense Arena Vice President of Tennis, Yannick Yoshizawa. “Our technology will play a significant role in helping Tennis Europe’s members maximize their ability and contribute to the overall future success of European tennis on the global stage.”

ATP Tour Sense Arena, which is also the Official VR Tennis Training Tool of the ATP Tour and the Official VR Training Tool of the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), is backed by International Tennis Hall of Famer Martina Navratilova and is used by some of today’s top players including Jack Sock, Jennifer Brady, Brenda and Linda Fruhvirtova, Miomir Kecmanovic, Emil Ruusuvuori, Liudmila Samsonova, Hunter Reese, Daria Saville, Luisa Stefani and more.
