Inform Russian Andrey Rublev captured his second straight title of 2020 on Saturday in Adelaide, Australia, defeating first-time finalist Lloyd Harris 6-3, 6-0 in 56 minutes.
Overcoming eight aces, Rublev won 81 percent of his first serve points, broke serve on four occasions and never lost his own delivery. Winning the title in Doha, Qatar last week, Rublev is in prime position to have a deep run at next week’s Australian Open.
Harris, who was appearing in his first-ever final, defeated Pablo Carreno Busta and Tommy Paul earlier in the event. The 22-year-old is currently ranked No. 91 in the world.

Frenchman Ugo Humbert needed two hours and 35 minutes to claim his first-ever ATP Tour title on Saturday in Auckland, New Zealand, upending countryman Benoit Paire 7-6(2) ,3-6, 7-6(5).
Hitting four aces to Paire’s 16, Humbert won eight total points less than his opponent in the finals (118-110), but played the more inspired tennis in both tie-breakers to hoist the title.
The 21-year-old is currently ranked No. 57 in the world.
Paire, who attempting to win his fourth career title, fell to 3-6 in championship matches.
