Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters—Monte Carlo, Monaco
Saturday’s action at the Rolex Monte Carlo Masters featured No. 5 seed Andrey Rublev defeating No. 8 seed Taylor Fritz 5-7, 6-1, 6-3, and No. 6 seed Holger Rune dismissing No. 7 seed Jannik Sinner 1-6, 7-5, 7-5.
In the day’s first semifinal match, Rublev used his potent forehand and experience to upend his American opponent. Needing two hours and seven minutes to advance, Rublev will next face Rune for the third time. Rune was pushed by recent Miami Open finalist Sinner, but eventually prevailed in two hours and 46 minutes.
Sunday’s final in Monaco will be Rublev’s third Masters 1000 final and Rune’s second.
As always, Betway will have great tennis odds on Sunday’s final. Rublev will be aiming to win his first-ever Masters 1000 title, while Rune will be looking to improve to 2-0. The young Dane captured the Rolex Paris Masters title in the Fall of 2022.
