Fit & Comfort (9/10)
Worn by Karen Khachanov and Jack Draper at the 2025 Australian Open, Nike has maintained its signature snug, glove-like fit with the Vapor 3. The upper is made from Flyweave 360, an evolution of Flyknit, offering better breathability and adaptive support. The padded collar and an improved lacing system provide excellent lockdown without excessive pressure on the foot.
The shoe runs true to size but has a slightly narrower fit, making it ideal for players with medium to narrow feet. Those with wider feet may need to size up or consider the wider-fit version available.
Performance & Stability (9.5/10)
Where the Vapor 3 truly excels is in speed and responsiveness. Nike has incorporated ZoomX foam in the midsole, making this model the lightest and most energy-efficient in the Vapor series. The Dynamic Fit System enhances lateral stability, ensuring quick cuts and explosive movement feel controlled and smooth.
The TPU midfoot shank prevents twisting while maintaining flexibility, making it an excellent choice for aggressive movers who rely on quick direction changes.
Traction & Durability (8.5/10)
Nike has re-engineered the XDR (Extra Durable Rubber) outsole with a new herringbone pattern optimized for hard courts. The traction strikes a perfect balance between grip and slide, a must for players who like to slide into shots. However, players who drag their toes frequently (especially on hard courts) may see wear in the forefoot area over time.
For clay court specialists, Nike offers a clay-specific version with a full herringbone tread pattern for better grip on loose surfaces. Nike continues to offer both hard and clay models for all their top silhouettes, making it a great edition to their shoe line up.
Weight (9.5/10)
At approximately 12.2 oz (men’s size 10), the Vapor 3 remains one of the lightest high-performance tennis shoes on the market. The combination of a minimalistic upper and lightweight foam makes it feel incredibly fast without sacrificing stability.
Pros & Cons

Final Verdict (9.2/10)
The NikeCourt Vapor 3 is an outstanding choice for competitive players looking for a fast, stable, and high-performance shoe. While durability could be slightly improved for hard court warriors, its lightweight feel and superior responsiveness make it a top pick for 2025. If you prioritize speed and agility, the Vapor 3 is a worthy investment.
