The stars of the tennis scene have returned in unprecedented times to begin the 2021 season. With a date shift to begin the year’s first Major, the Australian Open NikeCourt collection will feature colour pallets of court purple, parachute beige, copa and indigo haze in camouflage and zipper designs.
The Women’s Collection
First up, the women of NikeCourt will be featured in a flattering array of purple and black kits, reminiscent of the 2019 US Open.
Players like Simona Halep and Elina Svitolina will be highlighted in both the Spring Melbourne Dress in parachute beige and obsidian or the white, wild berry and obsidian combination. Other Nike stars will be highlighted in the Spring Slam Melbourne Tank alongside the Spring Melbourne Skirt in various colours. The latest collection provides excellent range of motion and subtle detailing throughout.
The rest of the NikeCourt women’s team, led by Sloane Stephens, Belinda Bencic, Aryna Sabalenka, Amanda Anisimova and Donna Vekic will all be sporting variations of the above mentioned looks.
Also keep an eye out for the all-new React Vapor NXT, Air Zoom GP Turbo and Zoom Vapor Cage 4 for the footwear line.
23-time Major winner Serena Williams returns with her own custom look as she aims for her 24th title. Naomi Osaka, fresh off of a US Open victory, also enters Australia with a custom look.
The Men’s Collection
Australian born Nick Kyrgios will spearhead the men’s team look this season Down Under. Inspired by the coastal vibes of Melbourne, the Spring Slam Melbourne Henley will be paired with the Spring Slam Melbourne Short for some of Nike’s athletes, while other members of the team will be highlighted in the Spring Melbourne Pique Polo. Look for Shapovalov, Khachanov, Dimitrov, Rublev, Fritz and Tiafoe to sport different variations of this kit.
Footwear options for Nike’s top men will consist of the React Vapor NXT, Air Zoom Zero and Zoom Vapor Cage 4.
World No. 2 Rafa Nadal will once again be seen in his signature collection, which will focus on and Spring Rafa Challenger Crew and the Spring Rafa Short. The Spaniard will also wear his latest colour-way of Zoom Vapor Cage 4 in Melbourne.
The NikeCourt Australian Open 2021 collection releases February 1 at TennisWarehouse, TennisWarehouse-Europe and in Canada at Tennis Giant.

Hi Nima,
I fell in love with Osaka’s Nike shoes she wore in her match with Muguruza yesterday. Wow!
Is it her custom line? I hope not!!
Thanks,
Muriel
Hi Muriel,
Yes, they are very nice. The model is available in stores but the colour-way is custom to Osaka only. Hope this helps.
