Roland Garros—Paris, France
French Open Final
The French Open men’s final—which was led 6-4, 6-3, 2-6, 1-2 by Rafael Nadal over Novak Djokovic—will resume at 1 PM local time in Paris on Monday because of rain.
After losing the first two sets, Djokovic stormed back to win eight games in a row over the six-time winner. A second rain delay at approximately 7:05 PM halted the historic final between the No. 1 and No. 2 players in the world.
Djokovic is attempting to become the first player since 1969 to win all four grand slams in a row, while Nadal is vying to break Bjorn Borg’s record of six titles.
Monday’s forecast in Paris also calls for 60 percent of showers.
So who is going to broadcast the match tomorrow? Is that 4-AM on the west coast?
