Crafty Frenchman Adrian Mannarino captured his fourth career title on Tuesday in Astana, Kazakhstan, ousting talented American Sebastian Korda 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.
In a match that lasted two hours and 10 minutes, Mannarino overcome the loss of the first set by striking five aces, winning 71 percent of his first serve points and breaking serve on four occasions.
Improving to 1-0 versus Korda in lifetime meetings, Mannarino will move up to No. 23 in the world on Monday. The 35-year-old also won the title in Newport, Rhode Island earlier this year.
Korda, who was aiming to win his second career title, will improve to No. 26 in the world on Monday. The 23-year-old has had an up-and-down type of season, highlighted by a wrist injury he sustained Australia.

No. 2 seed Daniil Medvedev continued his impressive form on hard-courts this season by reaching the finals of the China Open.
Defeating No. 8 Alexander Zverev 6-4, 6-3, Medvedev will next face No. 6 seed Jannik, who dismissed top seed Carlos Alcaraz 7-6(4), 6-1.
Medvedev owns a 6-0 head-to-head lead over Sinner in lifetime meetings. Medvedev will attempt win his sixth title of the year and Sinner will be looking to claim his third title of 2023.
