Australian Nick Kyrgios will bid for his second career Citi Open title on Sunday in Washington, D.C. The 27-year-old faces surprise finalist Yoshihito Nishioka, who dismissed top seed Andrey Rublev in two sets.
The first match of the night session saw Kyrgios race by the speedy play of Swede Mikael Ymer in straight sets.
Recently making the finals of Wimbledon, Kyrgios will next face Nishioka for the title. The diminutive Japanese star will be looking to claim his second career title. Kyrgios leads the pair’s head-to-head 3-0, with all matches being played on hard-courts.

Elsewhere, world No. 1 Daniil Medvedev won his 14th career in the Los Cabos, Mexico, dismissing defending champion Cameron Norrie 7-5, 6-0.
In a match that lasted one hour and 25 minutes, Medvedev won a tight opening set and never looked back. Striking five aces, winning 67 percent of his first serve points and breaking serve on six occasions, Medvedev improved to 2-0 against his British opponent.
The top seed will next see action at the National Bank Open in Montreal, Canada. Medvedev is the defending champion of the Canadian Masters.
