Generali Open—Kitzbuhel, Austria
Miomir Kecmanovic won his first ATP Tour title on Sunday in Kitzbuhel, Austria, defeating German Yannick Hanfmann 6-4, 6-4. Needing one hour and 17 minutes to win the event, Kecmanovic used his consistent game from the baseline to create three breaks of serve. Never playing his opponent on Tour, Kecmanovic improved to 13-5 in 2020. The 21-year-old will be ranked No. 39 in the world when Monday’s rankings are released.
He had previously made the finals of the grass-court event in Antalya in 2019.
Hanfmann, who was also playing in his second career final (Gstaad 2017), dismissed Laslo Djere in the semifinals.
