Kalinina, who was playing in her biggest career final, defeated Madison Keys, Sofia Kenin and Veronika Kudermetova earlier in the event.

On the men’s side, No. 3 seed Daniil Medvedev continued his stellar streak on the ATP Tour on Saturday, defeating No. 5 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas 7-5, 7-5 to reach his sixth final of the season.
