Movistar Chile Open—Santiago, Chile

Towering Chilean Nicolas Jarry captured his second career title and first since 2019 on Sunday in Santiago, Chile, defeating Argentine Tomas Martin Etcheverry 6-7(5), 7-6(5), 6-2.

In a topsy-turvy contest that lasted two hours and 47 minutes, Jarry struck six aces, won 80 percent of his first serve points and broke his opponent on three occasions.

Reaching the semifinals in Rio de Janeiro last week, Jarry will be ranked No. 52 on Monday.

Etcheverry, who has maintained a steady climb up the rankings this season, made the quarterfinals in Buenos Aires, Argentina last month. The 23-year-old will be ranked No. 61 when the latest rankings are released.
