(FILA Global) – For the season’s first Grand Slam, FILA has unveiled the latest collections to be worn by its sponsored tennis stars. At the 2018 Australian Open, FILA players will debut the women’s Heritage and men’s Set Point collections. The new lines add a contemporary twist to the brand’s signatures silhouettes, with pieces that are timeless, yet modern and bold.
FILA Women’s Heritage Collection:
The Heritage collection has evolved to feature a new set of styles for the start of the season. The Heritage offerings continue to utilize the brand’s Iconic red, white and navy palette, with archival design details like stripes, color blocking and pleats. Classic silhouettes feel ultra-now, with pieces such as the loose layering practice tank, slim fit pant and striped pleated skort. Updated proportions include a long cropped fit on the Heritage Jacket and fresh details like a large FILA outline print. The collection’s premium plus jersey fabrications make for premier texture throughout. The Heritage styles will be worn by FILA players including Karolina Pliskova, currently ranked #6 on the WTA Tour.
The full Heritage line features an assortment of tops, with four tank top styles, a polo shirt and a long sleeve shirt. To pair back to the tops, the collection consists of three skirts, including pleated and striped designs. Also offered are two types of shorts, in both woven and double layer options. The Heritage Pleated Dress was crafted with a contrast color back and upper arm panels, and striped rib detailing at the armholes and front pleats. The range also includes versatile pieces like the Heritage Jacket and Heritage Pant, designed to take wearers beyond the court.
The Heritage collection retails from $28 to $90 and will be available on TennisWarehouse and TennisWarehouse-Europe in the United States, Canada and Europe.
FILA Men’s Set Point Collection:
A collection that is incredibly forward-thinking, Set Point captures the vitality and wonder of playing on the court thanks to its dynamic colorways, cosmos-inspired print, and pinhole mesh textures. The men’s range displays bold colors and eye-catching graphics, as well as performance-focused features like ergonomic side seams, deep pockets and self-locking zippers. FILA sponsored players including Marin Cilic, John Isner and Sam Querrey will wear the Set Point line in Melbourne.
The Set Point collection consists of five tops, including three crew neck shirts and two polo shirts. The shirts include design elements like a unique galaxy print, stripes, and a vibrant lake blue shade that will stand out on court. The Set Point Short pairs back to the tops and is offered in black and white. The matching Set Point Jacket and Set Point Pant complete the collection.
The Set Point collection retails from $45 to $90 and will be available on TennisWarehouse and TennisWarehouse-Europe in the United States, Canada and Europe.
