FILA-Sponsored Players Set To Debut Two New Tennis Performance Collections
As 2023 Grand Slam Action Begins Down Under

January 12, 2023 — FILA’s roster of ATP and WTA players will debut two new performance tennis collections to kick off 2023 as they take the stage in Melbourne later this month to compete in the year’s first Grand Slam. The women’s Alley collection will be on display at Melbourne Park with a blend of warm vibrant colors to ring in the Australian summer, while the men will debut the Solar Power collection, bringing a number of fresh and vibrant designs to the court in unique FILA style.

Women’s Alley Collection

World No. 21 Barbora Krejcikova will sport the Alley collection’s Halter Tank, highlighting the collection’s signature colors of limoncello and FILA Navy. The tank prominently features FILA’s quintessential Navy with limoncello color contrast cutlines at the piece’s front and back chest. Krejcikova will pair the Halter Tank with the collection’s Alley Scallop Skort, a 13.5-inch option signified by its ruffled scallop hem detail.

World No. 53 Shelby Rogers will also showcase one of the collection’s marquee offerings, as she’ll take the court at the year’s debut Grand Slam in the Alley Solid Dress. With slimming princess cutlines and mesh paneling, Rogers’s kit will put the collection’s beautiful limoncello hue on full display. The signature F-box logo on the left chest and F-box puller ¼ zip completes the Alley Solid Dress look.

Former World No. 1 and Grand Slam Finalist Karolina Pliskova will wear the Alley Printed Racerback Tank paired with the Alley Pleated Skirt. The Alley Full Coverage Tank and Flirty Skort round out the on-court offerings, while the Alley Track Jacket and Track Pant allow the collection to seamlessly move from on-court to off.

Men’s Solar Power Collection

Longtime FILA-sponsored player John Isner will ring in 2023 by donning the collection’s Solar Power Short Sleeve Color Blocked Polo. This signature offering provides a bold yet simple look, with the FILA Navy color base accented with soothing tones of blue chill and bright shell. Isner will pair his look with the Solar Power collection’s classic Woven Short in blue chill. The pieces combine together to create a warm and confident color scheme look that is perfect for the temperatures of the Australian summer.

World No. 25 Diego Schwartzman will debut the Solar Power Short Sleeve Crew top, defined by its contrast color piecing and piping detail at the shoulder and throughout the center back body. Schwartzman’s look features the eye-catching shell look as the top’s prominent color, complemented by the Solar Power Woven Short in classic FILA Navy.

Schwartzman’s ensemble will also include the Solar Power Short Sleeve Speed Crew, recognizable by its contrast color geometric piecing and collar that features the collection’s unique splash power color scheme. Schwartzman will pair the top with the Solar Power Woven Short, also available in the splash power pattern with FILA Navy trim at the waistband.

The Solar Power collection also includes a Short Sleeve Printed V-Neck Crew; the understated yet classic Solar Power Short Sleeve Polo in blue chill; as well as the Solar Power Long Sleeve Crew, Track Jacket and Track Pant.

Throughout the fortnight at Melbourne Park, FILA-sponsored players will wear two of the brand’s most popular performance tennis shoes to complement their attire – the Axilus 2 Energized and Speedserve Energized. ATP players will debut a shell coral / FILA navy / white colorway of the Axilus 2 Energized, while WTA players will wear a purple cactus flower / white / limelight palette. Select WTA players, including Ann Li and Ekaterina Alexandrova, will showcase an all-new limelight / FILA navy / FILA red colorway of the Speedserve Energized.

The Alley and Solar Power collections will be available at select tennis and specialty retail partners nationwide, including Tennis Warehouse, Tennis Express and Tennis Point USA.
