Legendary Serb Novak Djokovic captured his third French Open title on Sunday in Paris, France, defeating No. 4 seed Casper Ruud 7-6(1), 6-3, 7-5.
In a match that lasted three hours and 13 minutes, Djokovic hit 11 aces, struck 52 winners and broke serve on three occasions.

Breaking the all-time Major record held with Rafael Nadal at 22, Djokovic now stands alone on the men’s side with 23 Majors.
Winning the Australian Open in January, Djokovic will now set his sights on defending his Wimbledon Championship next month in London.
The 36-year-old is also in pursuit of the calendar Grand Slam.
Ruud, who was looking to win his first-career Major, reached the finals of the French Open and US Open last year.
The 24-year-old owns 10 career titles.
