In second-round matches, No. 3 seed Daniil Medvedev, No. 5 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas and No. 18 seed Lorenzo Musetti all advanced. No. 9 seed Taylor Fritz, No. 21 seed Roberto Bautista Agut and No. 32 seed Jiri Lehecka were all eliminated.
Monday’s action in Rome will be highlighted by No. 1 seed Iga Swiatek and No. 2 seed Carlos Alcaraz.
