Djokovic Advances to Round Three
Seven-time Wimbledon winner Novak Djokovic was make to work at The Championships on Thursday, dismissing Jacob Fearnley 6-3, 6-4, 5-7, 7-5.
In a match that lasted three hours, Djokovic struck 14 aces, hit 34 winners and broke the serve of his British opponent on four occasions.
Returning to action after recently having knee surgery, Djokovic will continue his bid for an eighth Wimbledon title when he faces Alexei Popyrin for a place in the final sixteen. Popyrin ousted No. 30 seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry in five sets.
Other men’s winners on the day included No. 9 seed Alex de Minaur, No. 10 seed Grigor Dimitrov, No. 14 seed Ben Shelton, No. 25 seed Lorenzo Musetti, Arthur Fils, Gael Monfils, Roman Safiullin and Francisco Comesana.

Dart Overcomes Boulter to Reach Round of 32
Harriet Dart ended the hopes of No. 32 seed Katie Boulter at Wimbledon on Thursday, defeating her country woman, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6(8).
Dart, who is currently ranked No. 100 in the world, hit 17 winners during the three hour match.
Boulter, who has already captured two titles this year, entered The Championships ranked No. 29 in the world.
The 27-year-old has never made it past the third round at Wimbledon.
Dart will next face Xinyu Wang for a fourth round birth. Wang defeated No. 5 seed Jessica Pegula in three sets.
Other women’s winners on the day included No. 10 seed Ons Jabeur, No. 12 seed Madison Keys, No. 14 Jelena Ostapenko, No. 18 Marta Kostyuk, No. 14 seed Daria Kasatkina, No. 17 Anna Kalinskaya, No. 20 seed Beatriz Haddad Maia, No. 31 seed Barbora Krejcikova, Jessica Bouzas Maneiro, Yulia Putintseva and Paula Badosa.
Friday’s star-studded lineup at Wimbledon will feature Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Coco Gauff and Emma Raducanu.
