The top players in the world have returned to the 5th Slam for another year of great action.
Held at the Tennis Garden in Palm Springs, the BNP Paribas Open continues to be the event of the Spring on the tennis calendar.
Alcaraz, Djokovic Headline Field
The most electric player on the men’s Tour returns for a rare opportunity to win three-straight titles in Indian Wells. Carlos Alcaraz is attempting to join Novak Djokovic (won 2014 – 2016) and Roger Federer (won 2004 – 2006).
Alcaraz will be joined in the desert with Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, Alex de Minaur, Casper Ruud, and last year’s finalist Daniil Medvedev.
With world No. 1 Jannik Sinner sidelined with his doping suspension, Alcaraz and Zverev will have ample opportunities to overtake the Italian before his return in May.
This year’s event (including qualifying) will take place from March 2nd – 16th and the Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, California.
Swiatek at Home in Palm Springs
Defending champion Iga Swiatek has always felt at home on the slow courts in Indian Wells. The Queen of Clay, who has won the title in Indian Wells twice, will have to fend off the likes of world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, Jasmine Paolini, Jessica Pegula, Madison Keys, Elena Rybakina, Qinwen Zheng, Emma Navvaro and Paula Badosa.
Women’s first round action will begin on Wednesday March 5, 2025.
