Using his powerful serve to great effect, Berrettini struck 19 aces and broke serve on two occasions. Never facing a break point against his hometown opponent, Berrettini recently made the quarterfinals of the French Open.
The Italian star will remain at No. 9 in the world when Monday’s rankings are released.
Norrie, who has had a great season thus far, dismissed Denis Shapovalov and Aslan Karatsev earlier in the event. The Brit will move up to No. 34 in the world on Monday.

Frenchman Ugo Humbert dispatched No. 4 seed Andrey Rublev 6-3, 7-6(4) on Sunday to captured his third career title in Halle, Germany.
Needing one hour and 25 minutes to prevail, Humbert won 83 percent of his first serve points and broke the Russian’s serve on one occasion.
Tying his head-to-head meetings with Rublev at one a piece, Humbert will move up to No. 25 in the world on Monday.
Rublev, who was in search of his ninth career title, is currently ranked No. 7 in the world.
