Top seed Roberto Bautista Agut won his sixth career ATP World Tour title on Sunday at the Winston-Salem Open in North Carolina, U.S.A, defeating Damir Dzumhur 6-4, 6-4. In a match that lasted one hour and 31 minutes, Bautista Agut won 68 percent of his first serve points and broke his opponent on five occasions. Never facing Dzumhur previously on Tour, Bautista Agut claimed his second title of the year after previously capturing the trophy in Chennai, India to begin the season.
Dzumhur, who was playing in his first-career final, defeated the likes of Kyle Edmund, Hyeon Chung and Gilles Simon earlier in the event.
Both Dzumhur and Bautista Agut will next see action at the US Open, which begins in Flushing Meadows, New York on Monday.
