ATP Tour and WTA 2025 Draws: United Cup, Brisbane, Hong Kong and Auckland
The 2025 Tennis Calendar Kicks Off This Week
The first week of the ATP Tour and WTA season for 2025 season has arrived. Week one of the season will feature events at the United Cup, Brisbane, Hong Kong and Auckland.

Wildly known as being one of the most physically demanding sports in the world, the world’s best tennis players will begin another 11 months of travelling the globe for valuable Tour points, titles and prize money.
Perth and Sydney to Host United Cup
Arguably the most important duel-gendered Team event of the season is about to take flight at the United Cup in Perth and Sydney, Australia.
18 teams will seek the coveted title from Friday December 27, 2024 to Sunday January 5, 2025.
Teams that will be in attendance will include USA, Greece, China, Canada, Kazakhstan, Germany, Croatia, Spain, Brazil, Poland Italy, Great Britain, Czechia, France, Australia, Norway, Switzerland and Argentina.
Brisbane is the Place to be in January
Australia’s Nick Kyrgios is set to make his return to tennis at the Brisbane International at the Queensland Tennis Centre.
The flamboyant Australian will be joined in the draw by Grigor Dimitrov, Holger Rune, Frances Tiafoe, Sebastian Korda, Gael Monfils, Alexei Popyrin and Jordan Thompson.
The women’s event will feature US Open winner and finalist Aryna Sabalenka and Jessica Pegula.
Sabalenka, who is the two-time defending champion at the Australian Open, will be keen on getting her season started in style for a potential three-peat Down Under.
Pegula, who plays her best tennis on hard-courts, will be one to watch during the Australian hard-court season.
Rublev Returns to Hong Kong
Russian star Andrey Rublev is set to return to the Hong Kong Tennis Open to defend his title. Rublev will be joined by Shang Juncheng, Coleman Wong and Bu Yunchaokete.
Rublev had an up-and-down 2024 season, and finished with two titles. He is currently ranked No. 8 in the world.
Osaka Starts Season in Auckland
Two-time Australian Open winner Naomi Osaka will begin her season in Auckland, New Zealand. Always playing some of her best tennis at the beginning of the year, Osaka will be eager to star her year in great form as she looks to return to the top 10 in the rankings.
