ATP Tour and ATP Tour and WTA 2024: Schedule of Play for Tuesday October 1 for Beijing, Tokyo and Shanghai

Beijing to Feature Sabalenka, Sinner and Alcaraz
The star-studded Beijing Open in China will have all the top players in the world on hand this week.
For the women, the 1000 level event will be highlighted by Aryna Sabalenka and home-country hero and Olympic Gold Medalist Qwinen Zheng.
The men’s field, which will be a 500 level tournament, will feature world No. 1 Jannik Sinner and former top ranked player Carlos Alcaraz.
Tokyo Remains a Favourite Stop on Tour
The Japan Open will also be featured this week on the ATP Tour. Known as one of the most popular stops of the season, this year’s tournament will be headlined by Hubert Hurkacaz, Casper Ruud, Holger Rune and Taylor Fritz.
With 500 points up for grabs this week, players will be looking to go as deep as possible in order to qualify for the season-ending event in Turin, Italy.
Eighth Masters 1000 Event of the Season Begins in Shanghai
The eighth Masters 1000 event of the year in Shanghai, China is set to begin this week. The 96-player field will include Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
Djokovic will be playing in Shanghai for the first time in five years. The legendary Serb has won in Shanghai on four occasions. He is currently ranked No. 9 in the race to the ATP Finals in Turin, Italy.
Other players to watch out for in Shanghai will include Alexander Zverev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Grigor Dimitrov, Daniil Medevdev, Holger Rune and Andrey Rublev.
