Sunday’s order of play at the Mututa Madrid Open featured No. 5 seed Andrey Rublev cruise into the fourth round of the event, dismissing No. 28 seed Yoshihito Nishioka 6-2, 7-5.

will next face good friend and frequent doubles partner Karen Khachanov. The No. 10 seed needed three sets to fend off No. 20 seed Roberto Bautista Agut 7-5, 4-6, 6-3.
Elsewhere, No. 13 seed and last year’s finalist Alexander Zverev breezed past Hugo Grenier 6-1, 6-0 and Jaume Munar dispatched Matteo Arnaldi 3-6, 6-3, 6-1.
During the night session, top seed Carlos Alcaraz dusted aside Grigor Dimtrov 6-2, 7-5 and Iga Swiatek defeated Bernarda Pera 6-3, 6-2.
Still to come on Sunday’s schedule, No. 6 seed Holger Rune will finish off the day on MANOLO SANTANA STADIUM against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
