Stycon offers a revolutionary new silhouette for the courts

Featuring uncompromised performance and innovative style

Available online from 7th January 2020

adidas launches its newest tennis footwear franchise the Stycon – available in men’s and women’s styles, the new silhouette offers superior fit and ultimate control.

Created for pioneers and players who like to do things differently, the Stycon is a new style of tennis shoe for the next generation. Its unique and street style inspired aesthetic is also equipped with technical performance features that make it a solid choice for all levels of tennis player.

By removing the conventional laces, the adidas Stycon creates the perfect connection between the foot and the shoe. The knit collar of the shoe is engineered to naturally expand to the foot shape, while also ensuring supportive fit. These design features deliver comfort, stability and support, while also providing a revolutionary style.

Stanislav Goussev, Footwear Design Director at adidas Tennis explains: “adidas has always been at the forefront of tennis footwear innovation – we’ve delivered iconic styles that have delivered both style and performance and we’re excited to launch our latest icon the Stycon. We know from working with athletes and through feedback that the most important elements of a tennis shoe are comfort, stability and durability. We’ve built the shoe with these features at the forefront – but have also looked at how we can design this tennis shoe differently, how we can revolutionise what a tennis shoe looks like and what we expect from a tennis shoe. We are entering a new generation of tennis and the Stycon is the shoe for those looking to create change.”

The adidas Stycon is available online from 7th January for $140 USD at TennisWarehouse and for 126 euros at TennisWarehouse-Europe and in Canada at Tennis Giant.
