Winston-Salem Finals Preview: Van de Zandschulp vs. Fucsovics

Saturday’s ATP Tour and WTA Results and Previews

Saturday’s ATP Tour 250 final at the Winston-Salem Open in North Carolina will feature Botic van de Zandschulp from the Netherlands taking on Marton Fucsovics from Hungry.

On Friday, van de Zandschulp withstood seven aces from hard-serving Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard to advance to the finals by a scoreline of 6-4, 7-5.

Van de Zandschulp, who has made two ATP Tour finals in Munich, Germany, will be hopeful that he can capture his maiden ATP Tour title on Saturday in North Carolina.

Ranked as high as No. 22 in the world in August of 2022, the Dutchman will face Fucsovics for the title.

Currently ranked No. 94 in the world, Fucsovics advanced to the finals when No. 11 seed Sebastian Korda withdrew due to illness.

Fucsovics will be aiming to win his third career title on Saturday in Winston-Salem. He previously captured titles in Bucharest, Romania in 2024 and Geneva, Switzerland in 2018. He also made the finals in Rotterdam, Netherlands in 2021 and Sofia, Bulgaria in 2019.

Van de Zandschulp leads Fucsovics 2-1 in career head-to-head meetings.
