American Christopher Eubanks won his first-career title on Saturday in Mallorca, Spain, defeating grass-court specialist Adrian Mannarino 6-1, 6-4.
In a match that lasted one hour and three minutes, Eubanks showcased his superior serving throughout the contest. Striking 11 aces and winning 89 percent of his first serve points, Eubanks broke the serve of his opponent on three occasions.
Defeating Daniil Medvedev and Taylor Fritz earlier in the grass-court season, Mannarino continues to prove that he’s one of the best grass-court players in the world by reaching his 12th career final.
The 35-year-old will be ranked No. 35 on Monday.
Eubanks, who made an impressive run to his title, will be ranked No. 43 in the world on Monday. The 27-year-old dismissed Ben Shelton and Lloyd Harris earlier in the event.

Argentine Francisco Cerundolo captured his second career title on Saturday in Eastbourne, Great Britain, dispatching No. 2 seed Tommy Paul 6-4, 1-6. 6-4.
With both players having to play two matches on the day because of rain on Friday, Cerundolo used his athleticism and all-court game to off-set his American opponent.
Needing one hour and 54 minutes to prevail, Cerundolo struck 28 winners, won 67 percent of his points at the net and 67 percent of his first serve points.
Paul had defeated Gregoire Barrere 6-4, 6-3 earlier in the day and Cerundolo had dismissed Mackenzie McDonald 2-6, 7-5, 6-2 in the other semifinal.
Cerundolo will be ranked No. 19 in the world on Monday and Paul will move up to No. 15 as a result of his runner up finish.
The Wimbledon Championships begins on Monday in London, England.
