Coric’s year began to flourish when he defeated 22-time Major winner Rafael Nadal along the way to his first Masters 1000 title in Mason, Ohio. Recently winning the ATP Tour comeback player of the year award, Coric currently sits at No. 26 in the rankings.
Rublev will also be one to watch this week in Abu Dhabi. The 25-year-old, who possesses one of the best forehands in the world, took home four titles in 2022. Rublev is also a fan-favourite wherever he plays, due in large part to high-octane game.
Fans in Abu Dhabi will also will be treated to a great women’s match this week, when Emma Raducanu faces Wimbledon finalist Ons Jabeur.
Raducanu, who reached stardom last year by winning the US Open as a qualifier, has become one of the most popular players on the WTA in the last 12 months. Her opponent Jabeur is also no stranger to being one to watch on Tour, as her eclectic game and radiating smile are always a welcome sight during any Tour stop.
