This year’s premier men’s and women’s exhibition on the tennis scene is set to begin at the at International Tennis Center Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.

Boasting the likes of world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz, former US Open winner Emma Raducanu, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Ons Jabeur, Casper Ruud, Andrey Rublev, Borna Coric and Cameron Norrie, this year event is sure to be memorable tournament and a great segue into the 2023 season.

Alcaraz, who will be the odds on favourite to take home the title from December 16-18 according to bet365 bonus code ontario, will likely use this event to prep for his run at the Australian Open next month Down Under. Alcaraz received some more good news today, as his coach Juan Carlos Ferrero was named coach of the year by the ATP Tour.

Alcaraz, will be challenged by Ruud, Rublev, Coric and Norrie, but perhaps his greatest competition this week will come from Tsitsipas.

The Greek star, who will be 25 next year, recorded an ultra impressive 61 wins the circuit this season, compared with only 24 losses. Owning nine career titles, Tsitsipas has been one of the most consistent players on Tour in the last three years. Tsitsipas has yet to win a match against Alcaraz in three lifetime meetings.

The Spaniard came to stardom at last year’s US Open, after overcoming Tsitsipas in five-thrilling sets.

Other notable contenders this week will be Cincinnati winner Coric and ATP Finals semifinalist Rublev. Both players will be attempting to finish off their seasons in the strongest way possible. Coric’s year began to flourish when he defeated 22-time Major winner Rafael Nadal along the way to his first Masters 1000 title in Mason, Ohio. Recently winning the ATP Tour comeback player of the year award, Coric currently sits at No. 26 in the rankings.

Rublev will also be one to watch this week in Abu Dhabi. The 25-year-old, who possesses one of the best forehands in the world, took home four titles in 2022. Rublev is also a fan-favourite wherever he plays, due in large part to high-octane game.

Fans in Abu Dhabi will also will be treated to a great women’s match this week, when Emma Raducanu faces Wimbledon finalist Ons Jabeur.

Raducanu, who reached stardom last year by winning the US Open as a qualifier, has become one of the most popular players on the WTA in the last 12 months.
