Paper Gods Tour to make a stop at the Miami Open on Friday, April 1
CORAL GABLES, FL – The Miami Open presented by Itaú announced that multi-platinum superstars Duran Duran will perform at the 2016 edition of the Miami Open on the evening of Friday, April 1, at 9:30 PM (ET), following the men’s semifinal matches.
The legendary band is on tour promoting its highly acclaimed album Paper Gods, which was released in September 2015 and reached a high of No. 10 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart, earning Duran Duran its highest-charting album in 22 years.
The Friday evening concert will be one of numerous elements of the Miami Open Experience, an entertainment platform originally unveiled during the 2015 event. The Miami Open Experience reflects the expertise and resources across WME and IMG coming together to create a truly unique experience for tennis fans. Duran Duran is a WME client.
During the first Miami Open Experience, the West Side of the stadium was transformed into a beach-lover’s paradise featuring soft sand, Adirondack chairs, a Tiki bar and a large video board showing the day’s tennis action.
