With the clay-court season on deck, the Nike Tennis cast of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Grigor Dimitrov are set to unveil the latest Nike Tennis 2015 Summer Collection.

Embracing the red-crushed brick in Europe this year, Federer will aim to win his first Monte Carlo title, while setting up his game in style for the French Open later in May. Scheduled to wear the Nike Premier RF in light retro, teal and key lime, Federer’s matching shorts will be the Summer Gladiator Short in classic charcoal, key lime and white. Federer’s latest colorway for the light-weight Vapor 9.5 will be in midnight navy, light retro (green) and white. The Swiss’ Tech Fleece jacket this time around will be seen in key lime and classic charcoal.

Always one to thrive during the clay season, Nadal will be adamant on winning as many titles as he can when he debuts the Summer Challenger Premier Rafa Crew in blue lagoon with hot lava. The key piece to Nadal’s latest kit will likely be the Summer Rafa Gladiator Premier 7″ Short in  white with hot lava. The Spaniard will also be seen in Premier Rafa Jacket in light blue Lacquer and hot lava and his footwear on the dirt will be the Lunar Ballistec 1.5 in persian violet, midnight navy, black and hot lava.

The high-flying game of Dimitrov will also be great to watch on the clay, and the Bulgarian’s eye-catching kit will be highlighted by the Summer Challenger Print Crew in midnight navy with light retro (light teal) and white, which will be paired with the Summer Gladiator 9″ Short in midnight navy with light retro (light teal). Dimitrov’s shoes for the clay season will be the Vapor 9 ID.

Australians Nick Kygrios, Thanasi Kokkinakis and Bernard Tomic will also be outfitted in the all-new 2015 Summer collection from Nike Tennis. Juan Martin del Potro, Borna Coric, Ryan Harrison and Filip Krajinovic will also be players to watch out for as they continue to rise up the rankings in their Nike gear.

We have to admit that the alleged “Big 4” is now down to a “top 2”, formed by Djokovic and (hard to believe, but yes) Federer. With Nadal recurrent health problems and Murray unable to win against the three others, it seems that only our old friend Roger will be able to challenge Novak in bigger events, like he should do at Wimbledon and US Open. At Rolland-Garros, we should never bet against Rafael Nadal, but we would be sure at the end of this starting clay court season.
Murray doesn’t have to be ashamed; David Ferrer was number 5 for several years behind those guys and made a well-living career.
For the rest of the field, Nishikori had good results during 2014 clay season 2014: he won in Barcelona (ATP500) and lost in final in Madrid (Masters1000) to Nadal. Raonic did well also in Masters1000 tournaments: QF in Monte Carlo, SF in Rome and R16 in Madrid. It will be fun to see if Wawrinka is able to repeat his win in Monte Carlo, which is doubtful at the moment.
Djokovic missed Madrid last year, made SF in Monte Carlo and won in Rome. We could assume he will defend his rankings until Rolland-Garros, and for the rest of the year also. I predict Novak will won two more GS this year, and three again in 2016. At the moment, he reminds me the dominance showed by Federer from 2004-2007, on every surfaces apart clay.

I usually buy my Nike tennis gear from http://www.tenniswarehouse.com – good selection and they usually keep up with the latest releases.

Been looking for the Federer/Jordan AJ3’s but they are impossible to find. Really wish Nike would release those again. Don’t want to pay $600 on eBay for them…
