The ladies of the WTA will once again look their best during the 2014 edition of the Wimbledon Championships, courtesy of the stylish designers at Nike Tennis. In charge of an all-star cast, which is led by world No. 1 Serena Williams, Nike will release elegant outfits for the likes of Maria Sharapova, Victoria Azarenka, Li Na and Eugenie Bouchard this year.
Beginning her quest for title No. 6 at Wimbledon, Serena’s Novelty Knit Dress (pictured to the right) in white, black and matte silver features a V-neck design for a comfortable fit, mesh back panel and skirt for enhanced breath-ability and flat-seam construction to minimize irritation caused by chafing.
Known for her iconic fashion sense around the globe, Sharapova will make a statement at Wimbledon when she debuts her London Premier Maria Tank in white with medium base grey and matte silver, which will be paired with the London Premier Maria Skort in white with matte silver. Sharapova’s latest color way for the ultra light and comfortable Vapor 9.5 will be in white, pure platinum, summit white and metallic red bronze.
Two-time slam winner Azarenka will be excited to return to the competitive match court after recent injury. The Belarusian’s kit for Wimbledon 2014 is slated be the Summer Advantage Solid tank in white and matte silver, which will be paired with the Summer Printed Pleated Woven Skort in white with venom green and matte silver. Finally, Vika’s durable, yet sleek footwear at SW19 will be the Lunar Ballistec in white, metallic red bronze and black.
Other Nike stars such as Li Na, Petra Kvitova, Eugenie Bouchard, Sara Errani and Sabine Lisicki will also be wearing the newest in Nike apparel and footwear from the Wimbledon 2014 collection.
