World No. 1 Rafael Nadal won his 61st ATP World Tour title on Saturday in Doha, Qatar, defeating Frenchman Gael Monfils 6-1, 6-7(5), 6-2. After winning the first set in comfortable fashion, Nadal dropped the second set before prevailing in two hours. The Spaniard will enter next week’s Australian Open as the top seed.
