Winston-Salem Open—Winston-Salem, NC, U.S.A.

Talented Argentine Sebastian Baez won his third title of the season on Saturday in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, defeating power Czech Jiri Lehecka 6-4, 6-3.

In a match that lasted one hour and 35 minutes, Baez struck five aces, won 74 percent of his first serve points and broke the serve of his opponent on two occasions.

The 22-year-old also increased his head to head lead over Lehecka to 2-0.

Lehecka, who was aiming to win his first career title, had a walkover in the semifinals against No. 3 seed Sebastian Korda.

Lehecka will be ranked No. 30 on the computer going into next week’s action in New York City.
