Serena Williams predicted to earn almost £3.5 million on Instagram in 2023

From a seedlist of the world’s most iconic players and the current top stars, Serena Williams takes the crown as the top earning tennis star on Instagram with an earning of almost £133,000 per sponsored post. The former world number one is expected to rake in a total earning of £3,457,292 in 2023 based on the number of sponsored posts Williams has published so far this year.

Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal comes in second place with an expected earning of £2,397,432 in 2023 and the power to earn almost £150,000 on average per sponsored post. In third place, Indian tennis icon Sania Mirza is expected to take home an estimated £1,708,641 in Instagram earnings this year.

Analysing the earning power of the current top ranked male tennis stars on social media, it might come as a surprise that Novak Djokovic, the current male number one and recent champion at the French Open, takes the lead. With over 13 million followers and an earning power of just over £100,000 per post, Djokovic is expected to take home £1,475,324 through sponsored posts in 2023.

Carlos Alcaraz comes in second place, also the current male number two player, with an estimated earning on social media of £574,558 in 2023, almost one million less than his rival Djokovic.

Not only is Kvitova the current world number nine, but she’s also utilising her strong Instagram following to supplement her income, expecting to earn over £50,000 in 2023.
