Australian Open—Melbourne, Australia

No. 3 seed Naomi Osaka continued her dominance of the women’s game on Saturday in Melbourne, Australia, claiming her fourth Major title over Jennifer Brady 6-4, 6-3. Needing a mere one hour and 17 minutes to claim her crown, Osaka won 73 percent of her first serve points and delivered six aces. Breaking serve on four occasions, Osaka lost her serve twice.

Defeating Serena Williams in the semifinals, Osaka recently won the US Open late last year over Victoria Azarenka. The 23-year-old now holds two Australian and two US Open titles to her name.

Brady, who was playing in her first Grand Slam final, defeated seeded players Donna Vekic and Karolína Muchová earlier in the event.

The next Grand Slam on the schedule will be the French Open in Paris, France.
