World No. 58 Yoshihito Nishioka will be out of action indefinitely after suffering an ACL injury to his left knee at the Miami Open in Key Biscayne, Florida.

The Japanese star had this to say on his Twitter account:

Nishioka recently made the fourth round of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California before losing to eventual finalist Stan Wawrinka. The 21-year-old led No. 13 seed Jack Sock 4-2 in their second-round match at the Miami Open before retiring.
