Goffin wins title No. 2 in 2014 over Sousa in Metz

MOSELLE OPEN, Metz, France

No. 8 seed David Goffin won his second ATP World Tour title of the year in Metz, France on Sunday, defeating Joao Sousa 6-4, 6-3. Striking 10 aces, never losing his serve and winning 82 percent of his first serve points, Goffin improved to 20-13 on the season and took home 250 ATP World Tour points. The 23-year-old will see his ranking soar to around No. 34 in the world when Monday’s rankings are released.
