Nadal wins Indian Wells for his 22nd career Masters 1000 title

No. 5 seed Rafael Nadal overcame a set and a break deficit to defeat Juan Martin del Potro 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 and win the BNP Paribas Open on Sunday. It was the 22nd Masters 1000 title for Nadal in his career and third victory this season. The win also marked the 600th singles win of his career as well. Nadal will not travel to the Miami Masters in Florida next week, opting to rest his knee and prepare for the clay season in Europe.

Del Potro was attempting to win his first career Masters 1000 crown and entered the final with victoires over Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.
