Nadal reaches finals in Chile

Top seed Rafael Nadal reached the finals of the ATP World Tour event in Chile on Saturday, defeating Jeremy Chardy 6-2, 6-2. Nadal will compete for his first title of the year on Sunday when he faces Horacio Zeballas.

Nadal is playing his first tournament since Wimbledon because of a knee injury.

Nadal will also contest the doubles final on Sunday with partner Juan Monaco.
