“LOVE TENNIS BY HAZEL” JEWELRY LINE LAUNCHES
New York City, New York – How many times have you searched for jewelry that truly reflects your devotion to tennis only to find a pair of $20 fuzzy yellow tennis ball earrings? Introducing Love Tennis by hazel, a game-changing new jewelry line that celebrates passion for the game with elegantly hand-crafted necklaces, bracelets, earrings and even cuff links for him. The line includes a total of four collections named after the Grand Slam cities. Designed by a native New Yorker, the line will debut with the New York collection on May 7th, with the other collections launching on their respective Grand Slam schedules: Paris collection on May 27th, London collection on June 25th, and Melbourne collection in January 2013. Each piece renders intricate details from the court with understated grace. A lariat necklace in the New York collection features a subtle gold-plated handle on a tiny silver racquet. In the London collection, a cascade of tiny silver tennis balls and pearls shimmer over a double necklace. Versatile and beautiful, the pieces from Love Tennis by hazel are worn as perfectly on the court as out on the town.
I started playing tennis as a young girl in New Rochelle, New York, thanks to my Swiss mother. Inspired by fellow Swiss players Martina Hingis and Roger Federer, I have competed all my life – playing high school varsity, captaining the team at Manhattan College and now playing USTA league tennis. When I couldn’t find the right piece of jewelry to celebrate my passion for the game, I took matters into my own hands and created my own jewelry line – one that I think is worthy of the game.
