Nadal Teams Up with Bacardi

The Miami Herald has reported that world No. 1 Rafael Nadal has been chosen as the ambassador for Bacardi’s new “Champions Drink Responsibly” campaign.

The campaign is set to promote safe and responsible drinking.

In a statement issued by Bacardi, Nadal had this to say regarding his involvement with the company: “I enjoy socializing with my friends and family and drinking responsibly is important no matter what your game is,” Nadal said in a statement. “That is why I’m teaming up with Bacardi Limited as I want to take the lead in promoting social responsibility to fans and consumers around the world.”

Bacardi will kick off the campaign this week in Miami Beach with Nadal on hand. The Spaniard will also be featured in the upcoming “I try to beat everyone at tennis, not at drinking” campaign.
